SWIMMING POOL, CARROWDORE

A 2,500sq.ft new build extension to an existing private residence, encompassing a large volumetric space with a vaulted ceiling designed to appear as if it was floating with a curtain wall gable end to the west. A clerestory window follows the roof pitch to the east and along both north and south elevation, where the ceiling does not quite meet the walls. The disconnection of ceiling from wall is further accentuated by a linear strip of LED lighting along its whole length.
