ROTTERDAM BAR SITE
Speculative project for the Rotterdam Bar site, a multistorey development situated on dock-side, brownfield land. Our proposal incorporated a mixed use development (offices, apartments & retail) and a partially covered external public park on the twelfth floor. We aimed to express materiality of the site through the use of poly-chromatic slimline terracotta panels, referencing the birds-eye view of containers located close by and through the use of rounded edges seen locally on the waterfront.
